Album: Timeless
Artist: The Quebe Sisters Band
Label: Fiddletone

This is another album by those very talented young ladies, The Quebe Sisters. In this collection of 14 tunes Grace, Sophia and Hulda not only display their mastery of the fiddle but also show off their fine vocal styling. They are also joined by Joey McKenzie playing archtop and tenor guitars and either Drew Phelps or Dennis Crouch as the bassist.

The album opens from the Sons of the Pioneers library with Glenn Spencer's So Long to the Red River Valley. Glenn's brother Tim penned There's a Rainbow Over the Range while Tim's long time Sons of the Pioneers team mate Bob Nolan wrote Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Western Swing icon Spade Cooley's Shame on You is reprised as are two from Bob Wills, penned by Fred Rose, You Don't Care What Happens to Me and Roly Poly. Also from Bob Wills is Leon McAuliffe and Eldon Shamblin's Twin Guitar Special. They also borrow from the big bands Take the A Train from Ellington, Air Mail Special from Goodman, Across the Alley from the Alamo from Kenton and Along the Navajo Trail from the Gene Krupa band. The remaining tunes are the Hoagy Carmichael standard Georgia on my Mind, Charles and Nick Kenny's There's a Gold Mine in the Sky and the traditional Speed the Plow Medley.
